Being environmentally aware is not just a fad. The threat we are imposing on our planet requires a hands-on approach.

Martin Strel, alongside his World Swim team has joined forces with Rotary Slovenia and their “Glassy classy” project, in a fight against enormous hoarding of microplastic.

Our first collaborative project is Martin’s swim from Punta Piran to Koper on 17.9.2022 as a support to the World cleanup day, that has been organized on this area by TRI-NITI organisation for more than a decade. For this occation, several celebrities will join the project.

On this occasion we will also announce the start date and place for the WORLD SWIM project

TIMETABLE

• 8.00 – 11.30 – Martin Strel swim Punta Piran – Koper
• 9.30 – 12.00 – Start of the beach cleanup with volunteers, led by TRI-NITI organisation
• 13.00 – Press conference on Ukmar Square
• 14.30 – conversation Heki Koper (Cesta Zore Perello – Godina 3) – Actual state of waste on Slovenian coastline, results of the beach cleanup and actual sollutions for sea pollution.
